Our firms, like many others, have evolved from the past experiences of its lawyers from the start of their practice. Richard J. Plezia first started in Dallas as an insurance defense lawyer. He worked with a predominate defense firm that had a reputation for trying cases to a verdict. That work and experience never left him when, in 1992, he traveled to Houston to work for “the little guy” representing plaintiffs in injuries that were not their fault. He always believed in hard work and strong preparation for every trial. He was recognized as a formidable trial lawyer as his career expanded to many different types of cases. Before going out on his own in 2006, he worked as a trial associate and then partner for one of the oldest plaintiffs firm in Houston. That experience expanded his practice to other states and working with lawyers in those states for their clients. His career has never forgotten the necessity of hard work, strong preparation and expertise needed to solve difficult legal problems. Since 2006, Richard J.
